Sandra Githinji is a Melbourne-based interior designer, educator, and multidisciplinary creative whose practice intersects cultural storytelling, activism, and architectural innovation. Born in Kenya and based in Australia, Sandra leads her studio with a focus on connecting heritage, memory, and meaningful spatial experiences. Her work spans residential, exhibition, and object design, with a philosophy grounded in community engagement and celebrating African perspectives within the built environment. Githinji currently is a lecturer at RMIT University and curated major exhibitions that centre the narratives of women and the African diaspora, reflecting her commitment to diversity, social impact, and authentic collective creativity.
